Personal Data Protection Policy
We are the company AŽD W Poprad s.r.o., Scholtzova 4291/1A, 059 51 Poprad-Matejovce, Company ID: 36 472 981.
We operate an e-shop on the website shop.cable-tech.eu.
When providing our services, selling goods, and operating our websites, we process certain personal data.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, repealing Directive 95/46/EC (the General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”).
I. Processing of Personal Data
Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you contact us regarding our products and services, we will process your contact details that you provide to us, mainly via the contact form. These personal data include: surname, first name, email address, telephone number, address, and subject of the order.
For what purpose?
Based on the personal data provided, we will subsequently contact you regarding our offer of goods and services.
On what legal basis?
Processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or implementation of pre-contractual measures taken at your request.
If you do not provide these personal data, we will not be able to communicate with you for the purpose of concluding a contract for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.
How long will we process the personal data?
If no further cooperation is established, we will process your personal data for a maximum of 2 years from our last communication.
Processing of personal data in the case of a purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will process the personal data necessary to conclude a contract for the provision of our goods or services. These are mainly billing details: first name, surname, address, company name, Company ID, and VAT ID.
For what purpose?
We need to process personal data in order to fulfill our obligations arising from the contract – delivery of goods or provision of services. Using your contact details, we will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, possible complaints, or your questions.
We will further process personal data to comply with our obligations under generally binding legal regulations (especially for accounting and tax purposes, handling complaints, and other obligations).
On what legal basis do we process personal data?
Processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract, and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.
If you do not provide these personal data, we will not be able to conclude a contract with you for the delivery of our goods or the provision of our services.
How long will we process the personal data?
For the duration of the delivery of goods or provision of services, and subsequently for 10 years from the last provision of such services or delivery of goods.
Newsletter (commercial communication)
If you have purchased goods or services from us and have not expressly refused the receipt of marketing communications, we will use your email address to send you our marketing communications.
On what legal basis?
Processing is carried out pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests, namely marketing communication targeted at our customers.
How long will we process the personal data?
For 2 years from your last purchase. If you no longer wish to receive our marketing communications, you may unsubscribe at any time via email or contact us at: odhlasit@azdw.eu.
II. Who will have access to the data?
Your personal data will remain with us. However, some companies or other persons work with us and have access to your personal data because they help us operate our e-shop. These include:

Personal data are processed exclusively within the territory of the European Union.

Our company has an appointed person responsible for personal data protection.
Our company does not carry out decision-making based on automated processing or profiling.

V. Your rights in relation to the processing of personal data
The GDPR grants you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about which of your personal data we process, request access to these data and have them updated or corrected, or request restriction of processing. You may request a copy of the processed personal data, request erasure of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases you have the right to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest.
If you believe that we are not handling your data properly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, which in our jurisdiction is the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic (https://dataprotection.gov.sk/sk/), or to seek judicial remedy.
These principles are effective from 1 January 2026.
